Super-precision angular contact ball bearing set designed for high-speed machine tool spindle applications. Its 30-degree contact angle provides a balance of axial load capacity and high-speed capability suited to spindle support. It has a polyamide nylon resin cage, steel balls, and a back-to-back duplex arrangement. The duplex arrangement provides rigidity and the ability to support axial loads in both directions as well as moment loads, which is essential for maintaining spindle accuracy under cutting forces. A light preload setting allows for higher-speed operation by reducing internal friction and heat generation while still maintaining adequate rigidity for the application.
