Features of Daikin's Hybrid Hydraulic Systems
Daikin's Hybrid Hydraulic Systems have many features that are beneficial to your shop. Hybrid hydraulic units feature multistep control of pressure and flow rate as standard. You can reduce the shock by adjusting the response time. Remote setting of the pressure and flow rate with the communication functions and stepless control with analog commands are possible.
1. Energy Savings
On necessary energy consumption at pressure holding mode is eliminated by running the motor at low speed. When the cylinder operates at high speed, the motor runs at high speed but on the transition to thrusting the cylinder, it automatically switches to the low-speed rotation. This eliminates unnecessary energy consumption by lowering the motor rotation speed, adjusting to the machine's operating status. There is approximately 60% of energy savings!
2. Low Noise
Low noise is attained by cutting an unnecessary rotation of the motor.

3. Low Heat Generation
Heat generation supression is made possible by cutting any unnecessary rotation of the motor.
4. Reduction in Valves
Simple hydraulic circuit without control valves such as throttle valves, solenoid valves, and proportional valves was enabled by a precise pressure flow rate control realized by rotation control of the pump.
5. High Accuracy
High precise pressure flow rate control was enabled continuously by a monitoring of the pressure in the circuit and motor rotation speed to be feedback to the controller. See the figure to below for a visual on how this works.
6. Exempted from High-efficiency Motor Regulations
IPM motors achieve high efficiencies of at least 90%! IE4 Super Premium Efficiency.
