Daikin

October 25, 1924, a small company named Osaka Kinzoku Kogyo Co.
Ltd. is established by Akira Yamada. From there Daikin took off
by increasing its corporate value by strengthening their profitability
and financial structure. Today, Daikin is a leading company for
air conditioning and fluorochemicals among many other separate
divisions such as Electronics, Defense Systems, Semiconductors,
Oil Hydraulics, and Transportation and Refrigeration Systems.
Daikin’s total assets are
approximately 460,548 million yen and its capital is about
28 billion yen and its revenue is growing every year. Daikin
does more then just manufacturer and distribute reliable
products, it also works to benefit the economy. Daikin uses
and develops many recyclable products, is ISO 14001 certified,
develops hydroflurocarbons that do not damage the ozone and
HFC-based refrigerants with high energy efficiency, and its
air conditioners cut down energy levels by ¾.
